Description |
Duties: |
This position is responsible for the overhaul/fabricate aircraft plastic subcomponents. Inspect, repair, modify, fabricate, sand, paint, assemble, disassemble, clean, wash, plastic/metal/aircraft seats sub-components in accordance with work cards, engineering documents, first articles and maintenance manuals. Fills out travelers/work orders.

Qualifications: |
Required-A high school diploma or GED, Preferred-Mechanically inclined.

| Pay: |
$7.95/hr starting salary
$10.75/hr for A&P licensed mechanics |
| Physical Requirements: |
Sitting or standing for long periods in a shop, hanger, and line maintenance environment. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to wear safety glasses and respirator. Must be able to work with and around wood, adhesives, solvents, paint, paint stripper, epoxy resins, metal, and composite materials/dust such as plastics, fiberglass, kevlar, and carbon fiber. |

6:30 am to 4:30 pm
Monday thru Friday (over time may be required) |
